Paperwork, and who reads it
A domestic building job generates paper from the day the warrant is granted. Contact details sit in the enquiry file, warrant drawings sit in the site file, photographs are taken as the trenches are backfilled, inspection records follow the visits from building standards, and a snagging list is written at the end. Each of those items has a different set of readers, and a paragraph about all of them at once would blur the differences that matter.
A table keeps the differences visible. The three columns are the three parties who ever hold this material on one of our jobs: the office and site staff of Livingston Park, the subcontractor carrying out a particular trade, and building standards with the inspectors who attend the works. The answers are plain, the note beside each answer says what the reader does with the item, and the note in the last column carries how long we keep it.

The website itself
This page and the front page are plain files served from our own hosting. Two typefaces, Chivo and Vollkorn, are requested from Google's font servers when the page opens, so Google receives that request together with the internet address it came from and the browser making it. Everything else you see is text, a stylesheet and one small script, all served with the page.
The e-mail address
Mail sent to works@livingstonpark.live arrives at the office of LIVINGSTON PARK LTD and is read there. An enquiry is filed under the plot or the address it concerns, and it stays with that file if the enquiry turns into a job. Where a message concerns work already under way, it is added to the job file so the site and the office are reading the same thread.
Asking what is held
Write to works@livingstonpark.live and name the plot, the address or the enquiry. We will look the file out and tell you what is in it, hand over a copy, correct anything that has been recorded wrongly, and remove what we are free to remove once the contract and the building records allow it.
